The new partnership was announced on Tuesday (23Aug16), with MAC bosses revealing the Empire star’s six-product collection will include a “deep tone beige” lipstick, mascara, and liquid eyeliner. It makes ideal sense that Henson is collaborating with M.A.C. on a limited-edition collection launching September 6, just in time for the third season of Empire, which starts September 21. “We’re thrilled to announce she is joining forces with M.A.C. for an upcoming collaboration!”
Inspired by her “powerhouse confidence and charismatic spark”, the actress’ namesake collection is as memorable as the woman (and her onscreen alter ego) herself.

Henson, who plays Cookie Lyon on Empire, is known for her bold looks on the Fox musical drama. MAC x Taraji P. Henson becomes available online at maccosmetics.com on September 6.
