Tasty New Captain America: Civil War Trailer Stars Spider-Man

On Thursday, viewers got their first glimpse of Tom Holland, the new Spider-Man, in the “Captain America: Civil War” trailer. Captain America talks about his duty to protect civilians and how he and the rest of the Avengers can’t always save everyone. On the other hand, the group led by Tony Stark or also known as Iron Man favors the regulation.

Spiderman shows up looking like he has arrived fresh from the computer graphics department, and his voice has the high pitch of a teenager.

Chris Evans returns in the title role, alongside Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man.

Also featured in the cast are Martin Freeman as Everett Ross, Emily VanCamp as Agent 13, Daniel Bruhl as Baron Zemo, William Hurt as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, and Tom Holland as Spider-Man.

As you can see above, we get our first look at Spider-Man and I hate to spoil the trailer for you, but Marvel sent out some official stills and that’s one of them, so it’s not a secret any more.

While it may be the longest Marvel movie to date, it’s far from the longest superhero movie released.

And if there was a Deadpool cameo, all the better. I was overly stimulated with this movie, which I’m so proud to be in because everyone is f****** awesome in it. During this trailer, the two friends who have always gotten on each other’s nerves come to blows and it gets bloody. Winter Soldier vs. Black Panther?

Poor War Machine. That snipe. Iron Man? It seems the Russo brothers, who are directing the film, have answered our prayers for as many hero-on-hero fights as (super)humanly possible.

Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlett Witch: an Avenger allied with Rogers. Plus there’s Ant-Man hitching a ride on one of Hawkeye’s arrows, which will just be awesome in IMAX 3-D.

“It’s the very fact that so many heroes band together – and clash against one another – that gives this is movie its charm”, Forbes writer Erik Kain wrote of the original “Avengers” movie. But what sets the trailer of Captain America: Civil War apart is the scale/magnitude; of both the war and the superheroes involved.
