The Kite 5 shares its mechanicals and styling with the hatchback, with the additional boot being the only differentiator. But a new name, Tata says, will be revealed after a few weeks, and then there’ll be an official launch.
Inside the cabin, the Bolt Sport gets an all-black leather upholstery with contrasting red stitches and accents, sunroof and Harman touch-screen infotainment system with voice recognition and SMS readout. The 1.2- Revotron petrol motor makes 85PS at 6,000rpm and 114Nm of peak torque from 3,500rpm while the 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel engine produces 70PS at 4,000rpm and 140Nm between 1,800 and 3,000rpm. Power will be transmitted to front wheels of the hatchback via a five-speed manual gearbox. The pricing of the Kite 5 might be Lower than the existing Zest sedan.
“Taking customer experience to the next level, the Tata Motors Smart Hub has displayed the #madeofgreat pavilion which will host a special ‘Fantastico Arena”, created to provide a fun and exciting customer experience with various engaging activities.

Tata Nexon first made its way to India as a concept at the 2014 Auto Expo, and will target cars like the Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300 among others. The vehicle could be launched under Tata Motors’new performance brand that will be introduced in India later this year. The rear also gets a complete redesign with horizontally stacked tail lamps and twin exhausts on each side of the newly redesigned rear bumper.
