Some speculated that the Selena Gomez’s move was an attempt to avoid the cameras panning to her during the “Baby” singer’s performance. And an insider exclusively told Gossip Cop that Bieber’s tears were the result of the young singer’s overwhelming feeling since the last time he was on stage, he was booed. Some Jelena fans immediately assumed Bieber’s crying was about Jelena’s breakup. “It was a long relationship that created heartbreak and created happiness and a lot of different emotions that I wanted to write about”.

The Biebs delivered a spot-on performance of his summer hit, “Where Are U Now“, and his latest single, “What Do You Mean?” – even flying up into the air at one point – but then he broke down in tears at the end of the set.
