Taylor Swift Announces Her Fifth Single From ‘1989’ Will Be “Wildest Dreams”

For his latest piece of stunt-art, he’s covering the entirety of Taylor Swift”s 1989, and he’s doing the whole covers album in the style of iconic “80s mopers The Smiths“.

You may still be dancing along to “Bad Blood” with Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar, but T-Swizzle has already chosen her next single from 1989: “Wildest Dreams”.

Adams has been posting images of lyrics to “Blank Space” and other songs to Instagram over the last few hours, as well as a clip of his version of “Welcome to New York” (below). “I’M CALM”, she tweeted. “Badass tunes, Taylor. We’re sandblasting them, and they’re holding steady”, he replied.

Ryan Adams is probably a genius, and gave us Heartbreaker, which is just about as good an acoustic alt country album that’s ever been recorded. “I’m not gonna be able to sleep tonight or ever again, and I’m going to celebrate today every year as a holiday”, she wrote.

The “When The Stars Go Blue” singer went on to post a quick video clip of his take on “Welcome to New York”.
