Taylor Swift debuts nature-filled ‘Out of the Woods’ video
The video, which follows Swift in a blue dress as she wanders through scenes that include handsome snow-capped mountains shot around Queenstown – scenery and shots strangely reminiscent of Lord of the Rings, though the presence of a wolf pack following her along the mountain ridgelines are a very un-New Zealand addition.

The highly-anticipated video will debut during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show, though an exact time has yet to be announced.
Yes, that’s Taylor Swift covered in mud (at least I hope it’s mud), crawling through a swamp and staring menacingly into the camera.
Earlier Taylor Swift had teased her fans with the first look of the video.
At 10:50 pm EST, Seacrest introduced Swift’s video, which is for the sixth single off of the album 1989, following “Shake It Off”, “Blank Space”, “Style”, “Bad Blood” and “Wildest Dreams”.
Her film crew reportedly apologised after being accused of disturbing endangered dotterel birds at Bethells Beach.
The song is about the frantic feeling of staying in an anxiety-producing, unstable-but-oh-so-thrilling relationship. “It felt very fragile, it felt very tentative”, she said. And it always felt like, ‘Okay, what’s the next road block? “What’s the next thing that’s gonna deter this?,'” she told GQ magazine.

We are super excited to see the video!
