Seven’s Sunrise Brisbane Correspondent, Michelle Tapper, was banned from the area by security. “Making friends on Hamilton Island”, she wrote.
“I do know there are other media on the islands”, she added, but promised not to “out” them.
‘I am the only one who is being kicked off, ‘ the stunned reporter told the show’s viewers on Wednesday’s show.

It’s been a while since we heard about popstar Taylor Swift doing something incredible and lovely, but thankfully the star wronged that right this morning when she took to her Instagram account and revealed her latest good deed. Leave it to T-Swift to show a media vet what’s what.
Speaking after the fact, Tapper fumed about the “outrageous” nature of the media ban, saying “I’ve never encountered anything like this in 20 years of journalism”. “For all their hard work this year, they really deserve it”, Swift, 25, captioned an Instagram photo of her team.
It also looks as though TayTay brought her younger brother, Austin, and mum along for the ride, previously sharing snapshots of herself exploring New Zealand with her family.
Swift wrote that she’s bringing 125 people who make the 1989 world go ’round to Hamilton Island, an island in Queensland, Australia.
