It’s no surprise Tom Hiddleston has been catching rides in Taylor Swift’s auto and private jet – the singer is, unsurprisingly, the top celebrity earner of 2016, according to Forbes.

Kardashian shared a picture of her cover on Instagram with the caption: “Such a tremendous honour to be on the cover of @forbes!“.
The Shake It Off singer’s 1989 World Tour earned more than $200m past year. Aside from the album and the tour, being an endorser for various big brands such as Keds, Diet Coke and Apple also helped in bumping up her earnings for the past year.
The 26-year-old singer brought home $US170 million, or around $226 million, in the last year. This year she earned $51 million to land at No. 42 on FORBES’ Celebrity 100 list; 40% of her yearly paycheck came from the game.
No. 2: One Direction Boy band One Direction earned the second spot on the Celebrity 100 list with $110 million.
Adele is the only other woman in the top 10, as she earned $80.5 million in the last one year.
These include some of friendly and not-so-friendly competitors with the likes of Adele (Ranked #9; $80.5 million), Madonna (Ranked #12; $76.5 million), Rihanna (Ranked #13; $75 million), and Katy Perry (Ranked #63; $41 million).

Author James Patterson ranked third on the list with earnings of $95 million and footballer Cristiano Ronaldo tied with talk show host Dr. Phil in fourth place with $88 million each.
Kim Kardashian, who also features on the cover of the magazine, has managed the 42nd position earning United States dollars 45 million from just one game.
Taylor Swift’s DJ ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris is at 21st position on the magazine’s list with $63 million.
