BOY band One Direction pulled in £85 million past year to make them the second highest-paid celebrities on Forbes’ annual list, beaten only by pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Perry dropped to number 63 on this year’s list, earning $US41 million. Aside from the album and the tour, being an endorser for various big brands such as Keds, Diet Coke and Apple also helped in bumping up her earnings for the past year. Her 2016 sum more than doubled her previous best of $80 million.
Next on the list was the boy band group One Direction with $110 million which might be their last collection as a group.
Over on the United Kingdom list, Ed Sheeran is at number 82 after amassing £33.5 million, Mumford & Sons have made $40 million and chef Gordon Ramsay has earned £54 million. This singer banked a reported $170 million, more than doubling her $80 million income past year.

USA Today also reports that Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris also made the list at 21st place with $63 million. Had Swift and Harris stayed together, they would have been this year’s top-earning couple, surpassing Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z’s $107.5 million total.
Forbes made the decision to feature Kim Kardashian on the cover of the magazine containing the list despite the fact that she was only number 42 with $51 million earned. Forbes says much of her paycheck this year came from her mobile game Kim Kardashian: Celebrity Insider.
But Swift could garner even more dough soon: The game’s maker, Glu Mobile, is scheduled to release an app starring Swift later this year.
