According to Gigi Hadid, Swift is back in the studio crafting new tunes, and expressed her gratitude that she took time away from that in order to support her during a show at New York Fashion Week.

Taylor has been on a break from music since she wrapped her blockbuster 1989 World Tour late past year.
After the show, Hadid expressed her gratitude to Swift for attending the event even though she’s now busy working on her own project.
One photo, in particular, was so nice that both Swift and her model BFF Martha Hunt chose to post it twice for all the world to see. Of course, the timing seems to be rather weird considering Taylor Swift just broke up with her ex Tom Hiddleston, who she just happened to jump into a romance with after her Calvin Harris breakup. The “Shake it Off” singer even sang along to Calvin Harris’ and Rihanna’s “This Is What You Came For”, which is a song that she co-wrote. “The singer was spotted on her way into the gym to work on her revenge body following the news that she split with her boyfriend of 3 months, Tom Hiddleston!”.
Taylor wasn’t just supporting Gigi walking the runway: she was supporting the model’s new nautical-inspired collaboration with Hilfiger.
She flaunted her supermodel looks as she headed to the event for New York Fashion Week, striding past snappers with her endless legs on show.
The former country singer, who reportedly made a decision to end things with Hiddleston last week, BBC confirms, has been heading to the gym nearly every day, as OK! After her recent highly-publicized romance with Tom Hiddleston ended, many assumed that she would start working on her music once more and it seems this prediction is spot-on.
However, at the time, many blasted Gigi for her words about Zayn, and accused her of trying to “grab the attention” away from him… “Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection but Tom didn’t listen to her concerns when she brought them up”.

But who knows, there’s always the possibility that Taylor be writing for someone else.
