This year Taylor Swift has doubled her earning which was around $80 million last year! “She also pads her pocketbook by shilling for brands including Diet Coke, Keds and Apple”.
Last year’s top-earning celebrity was former professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, who earned $415 million, almost double Taylor Swift’s takings for the past year.
Perry dropped to number 63 on this year’s list, earning a mere $41 million.
SRK ranks 86th on the list with earnings of 33 million dollars, while Akshay comes in on the 94th spot with 31.5 million dollars earnings.
Had Swift stuck with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, who earned $84 million, they would have been last year’s top-earning Celebrity 100 couple, more than doubling Beyonce and Jay Z’s $142 million. Not only is she dating flawless gentleman/dreamy heartthrob/our favourite villain Tom Hiddleston, but she’s also been named the highest-paid celebrity of 2016 by Forbes.

Rounding out the top 5 are author James Patterson, earning $95 million; talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw and soccer phenomenon Cristiano Ronaldo, who both earned $88 million; and comedian Kevin Hart, who reeled in $87.5 million.

The annual Celebrity 100 list, which names the top 100 celebrity earners, was released by Forbes on Monday afternoon.

Kim Kardashian is ranked 42 with 51 million. Since it launched in June 2014, the game called “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood”, has been downloaded some 45 million times, Forbes reported.
