Taylor Swift visits fan battling cancer
Taylor Swift made a special stop on the way home for the holidays – a visit to a young fan suffering from cancer. She noticed her hip was sore and swollen, and a visit to the surgeon revealed she had Stage 4 cancer.

Five years later, and many treatments later, Delaney Clements is now under hospice care.
Delaney was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when she was just 7 years old. Thank you!! I love you!! Clements wrote on Instagram on Saturday afternoon while posing for a photograph with Swift, reports eonline.com.
But after Kamryn’s mother, Jamie Renfro, expressed her frustration on Facebook, the community began protesting the decision – and the story made headlines across the country. In fact, thousands shared #DelaneyMeetTaylor on Twitter to grab the Grammy winner’s attention.
Earlier this month, her mother posted on Facebook that cancer had spread to Delaney’s brain and she was expected to enter hospice care. She wrote, “Our goal now is to keep Delaney as comfortable as possible and keep her spirits uplifted as she travels on a journey we fought so hard to avoid”. Swift followed with a post to her own Instagram account, captioned simply: “Merry Christmas Baby”. “Thank you Taylor Swift for the best Christmas present ever”. The charity is called Delaney Donates.
13-year-old cancer patient Delaney Clements had her wish fulfilled, when pop star Taylor Swift paid her a visit at her home in Grand Junction this week.
