After taking on TCU this Saturday at 11 a.m.in Fort Worth, the Jayhawks will return to Lawrence to close out the season with back-to-back home games.

“They better get ready to play or it won’t be me taking blame for us playing bad”, Patterson said. The senior running back has 796 yards and nine touchdowns this season, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

Beaty said Monday morning that quarterback Ryan Willis, who injured both groins during last weekend’s loss at Texas, was showing improvement and moving around better than he did before being pulled from Saturday’s game against the Longhorns.

The last time TCU lost, they went on a 16 game winning streak. They’re talented…. (Boykin’s) a Heisman Trophy candidate, and he still is. “We smother people, but when we don’t play deep balls, we get ourselves in trouble”, Patterson said. Trevone Boykin threw for 445 yards, but did have four interceptions. If there is any doubt about the health of Doctson, the team should not hesitate to give him the week off to rest and heal to be available for the team’s final two games of the regular season against the Oklahoma Sooners and Baylor Bears. “Simple as that. As you can tell I wasn’t happy with practice today”. “We’ll find out probably by Friday, Friday night, how he’s feeling, what’s going on”.
