Teachers’ Day: PM Modi pays tribute to Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan

The idea of celebrating Teachers’ Day took root in many countries during the 20th century; in most cases, they celebrate a local educator or an important milestone in education.

As India celebrates Teacher’s Day today, Google has paid tribute to our teachers with a cute doodle.

He also said, “Teachers should be the best minds in the country”.

This day marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and the entire nation remembers the contribution of teachers in the society.

This great person lives his exceptionally extraordinary life from (5-Sept-1888 to 17-Apr-1975), his whole life includes his working as a philosopher, a statesman and even the Vice-President of India and also the second President of India from 1962 to 1967. Students also offer gifts to the teachers.

However, while paying tribute to teachers for their “selfless and precious effort in shaping our future”, the federation “further urges upon the teachers to be more honest and committed in their duties and continue to motivate the students so as to be successful in their life”. The chief minister’s office issued a message on Saturday calling the occasion “special occasion when the nation pays its homage and respect to our teachers”. It is from the movie “Rang De Basanti”. Senior class students taught their junior students.

“Aye Khuda”: It is from the movie “Paathsala”.

“Masterji Ki Aagayi Chitthi”: This old track with hilarious lyrics portrays some school students singing on receiving a letter from their teacher.
