Team17 has also revealed that Worms WMD will be available for a hands-on at the developer’s Gamescom booth from August 6 to August 9. It’s not related to the 2005 game Worms 4: Mayhem, which was a 3D take on the Worms formula for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2, but is rather a sequel to the 2013 mobile game, Worms 3. “Moving into 2016, dubbed “The year of the Worm”, will mark the start of the celebrations of 21 Years of Worms”. It features 80 single-player missions and five different battle themes to keep players blowing enemies up while on the go for quite a while. Still no word on whether these worms will use the same disturbed science that allowed for Earthworm Jim to grow thumbs and carry a gun, but we will stay appraised of the situation. This valuable time, even though, there are two new nuances. Team17 publishes games for PC, console, mobile and handheld devices and other digital platforms.
