“I feel like a real weapon”, said Bennett, who will be playing in his first Pro Bowl on Sunday.

Allen Robinson had two receptions for 105 yards, including a touchdown pass from Teddy Bridgewater for Team Irvin.

Players on Team Irvin each received a bonus check of $58,000, while the members of Team Irvin went home from Hawaii with $29,000 each.

However, Team Rice is also not lacking in star power for today’s game with Odell Beckham Jr taking to the field. His best play came on a catch and run the resulted in a first down inside the redzone which set up a Travis Kelce touchdown.

Down 14 at the half, Team Rice took the opening kickoff of the third quarter and drove for a touchdown, with Tampa Bay’s Doug Martin running it in from 3 yards out for the score.

Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin met nine times during their Hall of Fame careers. But Team Rice would get no closer.

Team Rice cut into the lead with a 31-yard pass from Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor, who was picked off twice on his first three pass attempts, to Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry. The risk for injury in a meaningless game is too high and the rules that are restricted against defenses not being allowed to blitz pointless. Believe it or not, on the next drive for Team Rice, Carr threw an interception to Jurrell Casey at the 20-yard line of Team Irvin.

Kelce caught the second of his two TDs on a 10-yard pass from Oakland’s Derek Carr to cut Team Rice’s deficit to 21-14.

Since the National Football League changed its Pro Bowl format in 2014, the games have been lower-scoring than in previous years when it was just the AFC versus the NFC.

After being played in Glendale, Arizona, in the most recent year, the 2016 Pro Bowl is returning to Aloha Stadium, where it was played annually from 1980-2009 and again from 2011-13 and most recently in 2015.

The 2016 NFL Pro Bowl may be interesting for an unusual reason – rather than acting as a showcase for the top players in the NFL, this year’s game has turned out to be more like a “Futures Game” with the spotlight on the league’s young, up-and-coming talent.
