Last week Juventus drew a match 1 – 1 with Melbourne Victory FC and earlier this year they beat AC Milan 0 – 1.
“Tottenham are a strong team”.
“Tottenham is a good team, They’ve done well last season in the Premier League”. We could have performed even better, but nevertheless this was a good run out for the boys’.
A few players to keep an eye on in this contest include Kevin Wimmer, the center back playing for Tottenham and the striker for Juventus, Simone Zaza.
Despite the hot-topic surrounding Juventus being the future of young French star Paul Pogba, Allegri said that transfer news was off the table while he prepared his team for the season ahead.
Massimiliano Allegri feels Juventus are doing well in the transfer market but has refused to discuss specific targets.
One of them is Carlos Blanco Moreno who scored a stunning goal from around half way to give the Old Lady the lead, his goal was branded “very spectacular” as Allegri concluded. I think they will help us a lot.
Meanwhile Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed the side he would be fielding in Tuesday night’s match would not be full-strength, but he urged fans to get along to the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday night to see the “future of Tottenham”.
“We feel sorry because we can not bring all our full squad”.
The Serie A champions have been busy recruiting new talent already this summer, bringing in Dani Alves, Miralem Pjanic, Medhi Benatia and Marko Pjaca so far, with more names expected to follow.
“It’s a good opportunity for our supporters to see the future of Tottenham”.
