Ted Cruz adding another Idaho event Saturday
The shooting comes a day after Remington spoke at a Cruz rally in Coeur d’Alene, providing the event’s invocation to a crowd of about 3,000 people at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

Police have named Kyle Andrew Odom, 30, as a suspect in the shooting and are working to obtain an arrest warrant for him.
The details of Ted Cruz’s visit to Coeur d’Alene this Saturday were released Thursday by the Idaho Republican Party. The male victim was transported to Kootenai Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. The hospital reported Sunday afternoon that Remington was in critical condition.
“He’s introducing the Bible and Jesus Christ to so many lost souls around here that it’s just, I can’t believe that someone would even think of doing something like this to him”, church member Kevin Bauerle said.
Trump was already in the state to speak in Coeur d’alene, ahead of Idaho’s March 8 primary. “He’s the only one I’d come see”, Karen Wilson Scott said.
Associate pastor John Padula told NBC station KHQ of Spokane, Washington, that there is surveillance of the man waiting in a silver vehicle for Remington. “We are going to go to the hospital and wait for the word to make sure he is okay”, said one church member. “We pray for his full recovery and are thankful for the efforts of law enforcement to ensure the attacker is swiftly brought to justice”.
