Schwarzenegger, who is backing Kasich, ran as a political outsider on a crowded ballot in 2003, when anger at Davis resulted in a recall election.

Trump, to cheering supporters, recalled how Cruz knocked “New York values” as if “we’re no good”. “When you add up the votes, 65 percent of Republicans are wanting someone outside the system so Ted is in it but he’s also an outsider”. For Trump and now his people, Cruz’s attacks on the candidate and NY are an attack on the survivors of 9/11 and its bravery through tragedy. There are still several months and several primaries he can use to kick up his delegate count even more.
