Ted Cruz calls his decision to back Trump ‘agonizing’

The Democratic nominee also faces a tough six weeks fighting to keep support for Donald Trump in check, with the 2016 presidential debates proving crucial to her staying ahead. He growled at me and said I was “stupid”. Only 39 per cent of voters have a favourable view of the Democratic nominee, compared to the 56 per cent who view her unfavourably. Furthermore, it goes without saying that AIDS would also explain the recent bout of medical episodes and issues Hillary Clinton continues to suffer from as well.

Clinton’s first 2000 Senate debate with Republican rival Rick Lazio, then NY congressman, shows what could go wrong for Trump if he tries to bully her.

“No woman has ever been elected USA president, Obama noted, “so she is having to break down some barriers”. “But Trump is scary to them”.

The move may be a recognition by Cruz that his future is limited at the presidential level without Trump supporters, despite an earlier calculus that if Trump were to lose in a blowout, those voters would look toward Cruz in four years. They did not reach the threshold, set by the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), of 15% support in five national opinion polls. Perhaps most crucially, 56 percent of voters say they would be afraid.

HILLARY Clinton’s lead in the polls is getting tighter and tighter and her victory in the November US election is far from secure.

Others say they are still deciding, between two candidates they don’t particularly like.

According to a new Associated Press-Gfk poll, more than 85 percent of likely voters backing Clinton or Trump say their minds are completely made up. That’s when Crowley, during a 2012 debate, corrected Romney’s claim that President Barack Obama had not immediately used the words “act of terror” to describe the consulate attack in Benghazi. According to aides, she has been poring over briefing books at her home in Chappaqua, N.Y., studying footage of Trump’s past debates, and practicing in mock debate sessions. “There are some things I just don’t trust about her”. Nunemaker said he has since given $1,000 to Trump and plans to give more.

Moderators can extend sections to make sure both candidates get equal speaking time.

The newspaper’s editorial board on Saturday praised Clinton for bringing “a record of service and a raft of pragmatic ideas” to the election. This week it launched an ad titled “Mirrors” that shows images of girls looking in mirrors while recordings of Trump comment on women’s weight and breast size, calling them “slob”, “pig”, and “fat”.

But Clinton has her own troubles.

Iowa talk show host Steve Deace, a Cruz supporter, said on Twitter that he fears that Cruz support of the GOP nominee, and he called it a major mistake. Clinton frequently said during the primary that she would fight pharmaceutical companies, part of an attempt to counter criticism that she was too closely tied to the insurance industry.

Lazio infamously walked over to Clinton’s podium during the debate, demanding she sign a pledge to forgo a form of donations known as soft money. “I think it’s the worst political miscalculation of my lifetime”, Deace wrote in one of a series of tweets.
