Ted Cruz: Classified Information Leaked During Debate?
The heated feud between Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz during Tuesday night’s GOP debate only escalated on the campaign trail yesterday, with Rubio questioning his opponent’s judgment and national security stance while Cruz hit his rival’s credibility.

Early in the primetime face-off, Sen. It was sponsored by Sen.
“It’s not CNN. It’s Americans watching you”, said Hugh Hewitt, a radio talkshow host at the Salem Radio Network and one of the moderators of the debate.
But Cruz and Rubio have been very willing to engage in a cage match with each other.
“I went in there saying, ‘Boy, this is going to be a tough evening, ‘ ’cause I heard all of them were going to come at me”, Trump told his supporters. “He would not be the commander-in-chief we need to keep our country safe”, Bush said. And the answer better not be because we took away a valuable tool in the toolbox.
“And the reason is simple”. At one point, Cruz stated, “Nearly 100 percent of phone numbers could be checked for ties to terrorism under the new program, compared with just “20% to 30%” under earlier Patriot Act provisions that had expired”.
The Florida senator reiterated his position Wednesday during a campaign stop in New Hampshire, saying, “This idea that we can lead from behind, or in the case of Senator Cruz, not lead at all, will just leave more of these vacuums in other parts of the world”.
Becca Glover Watkins, Burr’s communications director, then tweeted: “Cruz shouldn’t have said that”.
On the debate stage, Rubio seemed to have the same thought. In recent days, Rubio has constantly highlighted Cruz’s support for the bill, which Rubio claims undercut USA national security. Burr said in a joint statement with ranking Senate Intelligence Committee Democrat Dianne Feinstein.
Senator Burr said that while he had not seen the comments the matter had been raised with him so he would have staff make inquiries.
Checking in at number 6 on the list is Deez Nuts, a satirical presidential candidate who is actually a 15-year-old kid from Iowa. “Any time you deal with numbers … the question is, ‘Is that classified or not?’ or is there an open source reference to it?”
Rubio’s view was more in line with both the Bush and Obama administrations’ calls for backing the spread of democracy in the Middle East. He argued that Assad’s iron grip on power in Syria has allowed Islamic State to thrive and said he “will not shed a tear” if he is pushed from power.

The poll suggests Trump’s momentum has not stalled in the Sunshine State since Tuesday’s debate, during which Bush struck an aggressive tone against the businessman, while Rubio and Cruz repeatedly butted heads.
