Tuesday, Texas Senator Rafael Edward “Ted” Cruz joined the growing list of candidates submitting the paperwork needed to get on the ballot in the commonwealth.
However, Cruz has had some positive polling numbers lately, having surged to second place in recent Iowa polls.

Last week Kasich’s super PAC, New Day for America, ran its first Trump attack ads and said it will spend $2.5 million to target Trump. There has been much speculation that if Trump falters or drops out of the race, many of his supporters will go to Cruz.
