Calling his decision “one of the most solemn choices you make” as a candidate, at a rally in Indianapolis, Ind., Cruz praised Fiorina’s business experience, character and past ability to stand up to the Republican front-runner.

He continued, “Why now?” (Cruz has said he was unaware he had dual citizenship until a Dallas Morning News report in 2013.) But after dropping out of the race in February and endorsing Cruz last month, Fiorina has papered over her criticisms by suggesting they were disagreements on strategy, not principle, according to CNN.
“Of all the people who didn’t make it far in the race, she was one of the best about laying out her plan, talking about who she is and her accomplishments”, said Doug De Groote, a fundraiser for Mr Cruz based near Los Angeles.
Some questioned how much Fiorina’s selection would affect the overall GOP race. Common core, she said, would help prepare students for the current labor market.
In her own presidential campaign, Fiorina emerged as a smart and tough leader with an impressive command of the issues. Another problem with Fiorina is that she’s never shaken the accusations of incompetence surrounding her failed tenure as CEO of Hewlett-Packard, the position that made her a national celebrity, a speaking-circuit regular, and an intimate of Republican presidential nominees John McCain and Mitt Romney.
“The most important attribute for any running mate is that he or she should be prepared to step in and fulfill the role of president – be commander in chief, keep this country safe”.
“It’s a good move given that he’s sinking faster than the Titanic”, O’Connell said in an interview.
“Our country is being taken away from us by the elites, by the crony capitalists, by the special interests who have captured both parties”, she said. She peaked early in the contest with a forceful showing in the first GOP debate, and proved herself to be a salient attack dog against Democrat Hillary Clinton.
“If fighting for women’s health care and paid family leave and equal pay is fighting the ‘woman card, ‘ then deal me in”, Clinton said.
