Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio closing in on Donald Trump after Iowa
“Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified“, he tweeted.

Ted Cruz may have bested fellow Republican candidates Donald Trump and Marco Rubio in Monday’s caucuses, but in New Hampshire, Trump leads in the polls, and Rubio is expected to be a formidable challenger.
Mr Trump pointed to the fact that during the caucus the Cruz campaign told voters rival Ben Carson planned to quit the race, which was not true.
Trump came in second behind Cruz in Monday’s leadoff Iowa caucuses – which he had previously described on Twitter as a “long-shot great finish”.
Cruz won the caucuses on a surge of evangelical turnout, while Carson, also popular among those voters, came in fourth.
Carson remains in the United States presidential race and there was no immediate response from Cruz.
Trump has a chance to reset the narrative in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary, which most recent polls show he’s favored to win.
“Reality has hit the reality star”, Cruz campaign spokesman Rick Tyler responded in a statement.
Trump claimed that the election was stolen from him by Cruz’s campaign, saying he “probably will” file a legal complaint against the senator.
Trump continued to accuse Cruz of being “liar” in his string of tweets Wednesday morning.
While Carson only indirectly criticized Cruz, his longtime adviser Armstrong Williams was blunt: “He cheated”. “Last night when our political team saw the CNN post saying Dr. Carson was not carrying on to New Hampshire and SC, our campaign updated the grassroots leaders just as we would with any breaking news story”.
Trump said this in an interview on Boston Herald Radio, that was flagged by BuzzFeed.

Rubio finished behind Cruz, the heavy favorite among Iowa’s disproportionately influential conservatives, and less than a percentage point behind the billionaire Trump in the country’s leadoff contest. As a reminder, Trump held a fundraising event during the same time as the Fox News debate.
