Ted Cruz, Mike Lee Join Forces At Utah Campaign Events
Ahead of the 2016 campaign, Romney spoke out about his faith and said that it would be part of his campaign if he ran, something he rarely mentioned in 2008 and 2012.

According to the latest polls issued by Dan Jones & Associates, which were released in mid-February, Trump is down six points to Sen. Cruz, along with Trump and Kasich are campaigning throughout the weekend.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) waits to speak to supporters Saturday at a rally at American Preparatory Academy School in Draper, Utah.
After a whirlwind couple of days with most of the presidential candidates making stops in Utah (including Bernie Sanders, John Kasich, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz), along with the ensuing rallies and protests, it’s now crunch time for Republicans and Democrats as they gear up for the caucus.
“I don’t think any Donald Trump supporters can look at themselves with a clear conscience and not think he is a pathological liar”, Melendez said. “His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University”. Romney’s experience in otherwise-loyal Utah, however, may show the Republican Party can not decry Trump without providing an entirely different narrative.
“It wasn’t like my father all of a sudden became a controversial guy and all of a sudden started speaking his mind”.
During his own rally Friday night in Salt Lake City, Trump questioned Romney’s faith, saying that he “loves the Mormons” and wondering if “he’s [Romney’s] a Mormon”. They are hoping for a contested convention in which delegates would be freed to turn from Trump if he fails to win a majority on the first ballot.
Police told the protesters to back up; when some didn’t obey, officers pushed them back using batons. “They (immigrants) are just here to have their families and work, they’re not here to cause trouble”.
The sharply worded response came Friday evening after Trump took his attacks against Kelly to a new level, referring to her as “sick”, “crazy” and “overrated”.
But Trump Jr. said his father’s opinion regarding the LDS Church has been misinterpreted.
Despite losing all of Tuesday’s contests and facing calls for him to quit the race, Sanders continues to draw some of the biggest crowds on the campaign trail, fueled by strong support among young voters. I have a lot of friends, I have a lot of friends. “And in fact I wouldn’t mind going over that original noise”. Sometimes I make the payment directly to the church. Blue-collar workers and entrepreneurs are the builders of the country, and Trump Jr. said his father recognizes that.
“Of the people left in the race, he’s got the experience, ” Caruso said of Kasich by phone.

In a Facebook post, he underscored the reality that if one candidate tops 50% in Utah’s caucuses, that contender gets all 40 of the state’s delegates at the Republican National Convention – a cold calculation that favors Cruz. Outside, attendees were directed down a path away from the demonstrations but many from the rally walked over to the protesters and engaged in tense conversations and shouting matches.
