Ted Cruz: No One will Reach the Needed 1237 Delegates
Carson’s campaign was late in submitting a letter requesting that he be removed from the ballot, according to the state Board of Elections, meaning that his name still appears alongside Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and John Kasich.

The next big face-off is NY state’s primary on Tuesday, with 95 delegates at stake.
Baker says this is the way the Republican Party in Pennsylvania has always handled their presidential primaries.
“They will get together at a meeting in May and cast a weighted vote and decide, in convention-style format, and cast votes for slates of delegates to represent their congressional district”, explained Erie County Republican Committee Chairman Nick Langworthy.
However, in an interview recorded for journalist David Gregory’s podcast, former MA governor Mitt Romney, the GOP’s most recent presidential nominee, predicted that unless either Kasich or Texas Sen. “Lots of football teams get into the red zone and lose and we’re aiming to win this by building up the number of voters who support Ted and he’s growing the coalition that he needs to win”. “I think we’re in a politically charged environment”.Priebus’ comments came after a tumultuous 24 hours for the committee.
Trump’s criticism of the nominating process is spot on, but meaningless.
“I think he’s a real possibility, but I also – the likelihood is Donald Trump is going to get the nomination”, King said.
On Fox News Sunday, Trump campaign manager Mr Lewandowski pointed to Florida, where the candidate won the primary in a landslide.
Pam Ausman, a Trump supporter from the district, said, “Why are we voting if they don’t listen to us?” It underscores the high stakes as the convention in Cleveland, Ohio, looms as the first in four decades that may begin without a presumptive presidential candidate.
Thus far, Cruz has advanced the cause with wins in delegates in states such as North Dakota, Utah, South Carolina and Wyoming.
Trump still leads the overall delegate race. “I mean this notion that there’s some group of people in Washington that can handpick somebody and deliver it is not true”.

While Trump is ahead by nearly 30 points, if polls are to be believed, and Clinton holds anywhere from 10 to 17 points, depending on whom you ask, Cruz and Sanders are still in the Empire State stumping for last-minute votes and hoping they can pull-off a NY upset.
