Ted Cruz’s 2016 campaign says its raised $14.2M since launch
Cruz and his campaign team are prohibited by campaign finance laws from coordinating their campaign strategy with the outside groups but Cruz spokesman Rick Tyler has in the past announced combined fundraising figures for both Cruz’s campaign and the outside groups.

Christie also argued that Trump’s remarks were a “small moment” that would be “long gone” by the time the general election campaign rolls around before touting his ability to discuss the issues with the Latino community.
Senator Ted Cruz is ready to spend as much as $51 million for his presidential campaign.
He further argued the USA needed to train and arm its allies such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Egypt “down to the battalion level”, “and let them bring the fight to ISIS”.
For the campaign itself, over $14.2 million was raised from more than 175,000 contributions, with the average contribution being $81.
According to RealClearPolitics, Cruz is now slotted 8th among the 14 declared candidates, garnering only 4% of support in the latest average of national polls.
“The grass-roots energy and support we are seeing is overwhelming”, said Cruz in a prepared statement, citing donations from 50 states, five territories and nearly 50 percent of USA ZIP codes. It came from the people. This can be seen as an attack on front runner Jeb Bush, who is expected to announce record breaking fundraising totals in the next quarter. Marco Rubio of Florida, won their Senate seats after the Senate Conservatives Fund helped them defeat establishment-backed candidates in the GOP primaries. This puts him toward the top of the Republican primary field and ensures he won’t be easily shoved out of the race.
But is Ted Cruz’s assertion that he is the “grassroots” candidate truly accurate?

Cruz’s campaign has until July 15 to file its second-quarter report, which will includes the names of and amounts given by donors.
