The town hall style meeting is set to pose questions on Cruz’s campaign and positions to better help the people of Buffalo New York and the US decide whether or not he would be a suitable candidate for the office of Commander in Chief.

MSNBC said late Tuesday the event will be tape recorded at noon in the Katharine Cornell Theatre in Capen Hall, and will be hosted by Chuck Todd, moderator of “Meet the Press”.
Cruz doubled down on an accusation that Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell lied to him, all the while insisting that he would work well with DC legislators.
Cruz said he isn’t familiar with the details of what was signed.
The conservative wing of the GOP had always been attacking the Ex-Im Bank as an example of “crony capitalism”.
Cruz isn’t a stranger to antagonizing his Republican colleagues, who are still quick to cite his role in the 2013 shutdown of the federal government.
The Texas senator added Thursday, “The reaction in the Senate is, ‘How dare you say that out loud?’ They’re not upset that somebody lied to them!” “When somebody stands up and lies to you, and someone else points out that they lie…”
Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will be the second presidential candidate to visit UB in less than four days. “That has consequences for how this body operates”, Cruz said.

In recent weeks, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Senator Lindsey Graham from SC, both of whom had bowed out of the 2016 White House race, endorsed Cruz.
