Ted Cruz Slams Bob Dole and Donald Trump as Corrupt Establishment Leaders
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Thursday dismissed recent attempts by GOP rival Ted Cruz to paint him as increasingly cozy with the “Washington establishment”, firing back by drawing attention to Cruz’s notoriously icy relationships with his colleagues in the Senate.

The South Carolina senator did not just attack Republicans, however. Ted Cruz speaks during a campaign stop at one of former Sen. “And if conservatives unite, we win”. They’re concerned that he’ll alienate voters in a half-dozen key swing states with his hardline stances on issues from immigration to abortion.
Reporters, however more interested in Cruz’s response to former Republican presidential nominee Bob Dole who said this week a Cruz nomination would be “cataclysmic” for the GOP.
Real-estate mogul Donald Trump got some great news on Thursday afternoon in the form of a new CNN/ORC poll showing him pulling ahead in Iowa. He went so far as to question Cruz’s ability to relate to people.
Levin also turned to Trump saying that Washington’s problem is that “they don’t make deals, it’s all gridlock”, Levin countered that “Washington makes a lot of deals”.
The two are running a close race in early-voting Iowa.
“I can tell you, they like me, those guys”.
Levin then turned to Trump’s criticisms of Cruz for his loan from Goldman Sachs.
“Ya’ll treat politics like we treat football in Texas”, he said to the crowd. On specifics, Iowa Republicans are “divided when it comes to who would best handle foreign policy, with Trump (27%), Rubio (26%) and Cruz (25%) in a virtual three-way split”, the survey found. I think his campaign is on life support, if he doesn’t.

Cruz also recalled his college years. He continued that if he was polling where Trump is he wouldn’t “keep going down, trying to beat the opponent into the ground and destroy their character, and do all these other things, like liberals do”.
