Ted Cruz To Obama: ‘Come Back And Insult Me To My Face’
Sen. Ted Cruz fired back at the president for saying Republican opposing importing Syrian refugees are “un-American”.

“Mr. President, if you want to insult me, you can do it overseas, you can do it in Turkey, you can do it in foreign countries, but I would encourage you, Mr. President, come back and insult me to my face”, Cruz said.
“It’s fairly remarkable that President Obama has now chosen two days in a row to attack me directly”, Cruz responded.
“Let’s have a debate on Syrian refugees right now”, Cruz said, directing his remarks to Obama. “We can do it anywhere you want”.
At a campaign stop in SC on Sunday, Cruz said it was “nothing short of lunacy” for the United States to accept Syrian Muslims into the country, and said there is “no meaningful risk of Christians committing acts of terror”, according to the Washington Post. “But let’s have a debate, I’m sure any one of the TV stations would love to host it, and let’s have a debate on your refugee policy”.
On Monday, Obama didn’t mention Cruz by name, but blasted his proposal to bar Muslim Syrian refugees from the US and allow in only Christian Syrians.
Meanwhile, Republican contender Rick Santorum also knocked Obama Wednesday for his attacks on the GOP candidates, saying that the President “needs to get a grip on reality right now!”
“I gotta tell you”, Cruz said outside the Capitol Hill Club on Wednesday. It’s easy to chop, to toss a cheap insult when no one can respond but let’s have a debate. Ted Cruz’s (R-Texas) feelings.
Basically, Cruz feels like Obama can say all this stuff from Turkey, but he wouldn’t say it in person (he probably would though).

“It makes no sense whatsoever to for us to be bringing in refugees who our intelligence can not determine if they are terrorists here to kill us or not”. King said Cruz’s immigration plan is “excellent” and “practical” because it secures the border, reinforces the rule of law and doesn’t grant amnesty. (Cruz suggests giving refugees a “test.”) But we’re living in the age of the conservative movement’s final transition into William F. Buckley’s worst nightmare, so Cruz’s thoughts no doubt echo the idiot rabble he represents, the shrieking loons who’ve successfully wrested conservatism away from the at least intelligent and well-meaning people who once adhered to its beliefs.
