Daniel Carter, an Ohio delegate and lawyer who originally wanted Ohio Governor John Kasich to win the nomination, said he would now be working to get Trump into the White House.

Reports that at least eight people had been killed in a Munich shopping center shooting prompted Trump to release a statement offering condolences. I have a message for all of you: the crime and violence that today afflicts our nation will soon come to an end. “Beginning on January 20, 2017, safety will be restored”.
Cruz remarks followed his Wednesday convention speech that drew boos when he failed to include a clear endorsement for Trump.
“Our convention occurs at a moment of crisis for our nation. This can not continue. The rise of terrorism threatens the way of life for all civilized people, and we must do everything in our power to keep it from our shores”.
Warming up the crowd before Trump took to the stage, his daughter Ivanka tried to soften her father’s image.
“As long as we are led by politicians who will not put ‘America First, ‘ then we can be assured that other nations will not treat America with respect”, he said.
The evening included historic moments.
His address on the closing night of the convention marked his highest-profile opportunity yet to heal Republican divisions and show voters he’s prepared for the presidency.
“Of course, every American has a unique identity”, Thiel said.
That leaves Republicans aghast, frightened of four more years of Obama style liberalism, while watching one of their own seeming to say “that’s ok”.
In his speech, Trump noted the mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Florida and pledged to do everything possible to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender citizens.
“You put your entire life out there”, he said, adding that Cruz “fell short in a big way”, and suggesting his failure to endorse Trump was sour grapes.
Pence also lobbed criticism at their Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton.
There are some in the Republican delegation who openly admit it would be a lost cause for Trump to devote much effort to Minnesota when other pivotal states are in reach.
“I am your voice”, he declared pointing into the cameras, promising better times with “millions of new jobs and trillions in new wealth”.
He portrayed himself as the strongman who could crush the violence.
“We are going to take care of this country first before we worry about everyone else in the world”, he said.
He says no matter what people think of him as a Republican, “If you’re a great believer in the Constitution, you have no choice”. They cheered him – loudly.
“He will focus on making quality childcare affordable and accessible for all”, she said.
“For Hillary Clinton, the Oval Office is just another cash cow”, he said. Ted Cruz’s dramatic refusal to endorse the GOP nominee from the convention stage.
“Nearly 180,000 people with criminal records ordered deported from our country are tonight roaming free to threaten peaceful citizens”, NBC News quoted the Manhattan real estate mogul as saying.
Citing detailed figures, Trump said almost four in 10 African-American children were living in poverty, along with two million Latinos. ISIS is marching across the Middle East, Libya is in ruins, Iran is on the path to nuclear weapons, and Iraq is a mess, he said.
