Teddy Bridgewater impresses as Vikings open US Bank Stadium

Good Morning America reports the noise at the new US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis is already making news, and it hasn’t even hosted a Minnesota Vikings game yet.

Zimmer said a few players told him the surface was fine.

Vikings: Rudolph on Bridgewater: “I don’t think it’s possible for Teddy to be more calm”.

“We were happy about some things, but not with others”, guard Brandon Fusco said. The Chargers went up 7-6 when running back Melvin Gordon went up the middle for 39 yards and a touchdown with 9:04 left in the half. Fans reported issues with long lines, particularly in the upper concourses of the stadium, and there’s little doubt logistical issues remain before the Vikings’ next preseason game Thursday. I, for one, am excited to see it in person.

Cardinals all-Pro safety Tyrann Mathieu, who came off the physically unable to perform list last week after finishing his recovery from a torn ACL in his right knee that kept him out of the playoffs last winter, will make his preseason debut with 10 to 12 plays against the Texans. “That’s one of the best two-minute drives I remember us having since we’ve been together over the last three years”. “I’ve been able, I feel, to conquer that now”. The 5-foot-10 Alexander has been considered to be the guy who eventually will take over for Captain Munnerlyn as the Vikings’ nickel back, but it’s clear Alexander’s confidence and play-making ability has caught the eye of Zimmer in training camp.

Vikings officials say fans who want to participate in Friday’s festivities at U.S. Bank Stadium should go to the Team Locker Room Store entrance off of Medtronic Plaza. There are reasons Bridgewater should see some live action before the regular-season opener September 11 at Tennessee, the least of them being the fact that Zimmer doesn’t want to be asked about it again.

Early in the third quarter, Hill threw a pass to tight end MyCole Pruitt, who fumbled after an 11-yard gain to the San Diego 3.

The team christened their new home with a 23-10 win over the San Diego Chargers.

Overall, though, Zimmer was in good spirits.

This is why Bridgewater didn’t play in last Thursday’s game in Seattle, and it’s why he didn’t throw a practice pass until Tuesday.
