The general manager had no new information about Bridgewater’s injury, saying the Vikings had released all the details they have, and did not commit to a timetable for Bridgewater’s return.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s knee injury was like something you’d see “in an automobile accident or when somebody falls off a cliff”, a top orthopedic surgeon told USA TODAY Sports on Wednesday.
Eventually the team announced that the quarterback’s third season ended before it got started; he dislocated his knee and completely tore his ACL, among “other structural damage”, on a non-contact play.
Teddy Bridgewater has a long road to recovery ahead of him, but expect him to come back, stronger and better than ever. Greene says most division one athletes who just have an ACL injury can come back and play at 90 percent, but the averages most likely drop when a knee dislocation is involved.
Bridgewater released a statement through the Vikings.com website on Thursday. Bridgewater will have surgery in the next few days, and is expected to make a full recovery.
Zimmer addressed the team in full after the injury and was clearly sympathetic for Bridgewater.
Rumors also surfaced of a visit by 13-year quarterback Michael Vick to Winter Park in Eden Prairie today. That option amount, for quarterbacks taken outside the top 10 of the first round, was $11.36 million.
The Vikings host the Los Angeles Rams at 7 p.m. Thursday in the preseason finale for both teams. Your thoughts and prayers mean a lot to me and have helped me in this hard time.
“In order to have a testimony, you have to have a test”.

“It’s not up to me, it’s up to the coaches”, he said. We will, as a team, attack my rehab with the same vigor and energy. “My goal will not be denied”. Current backup quarterbacks who could become available, if they’re let go this weekend or offered in a trade, include Mike Glennon, Colin Kaepernick, Mark Sanchez, Geno Smith and Brandon Weeden. “I’ve talked to his mom a couple times, just trying to update her about what’s going on”.
