Teed off at Univision, Trump drives dispute off course

According to Politico, this move was sparked Thursday when Univision decided to cut ties with its business relationship with the Miss Universe Organization which is co-owned by Trump. Really bad for USA jobs, only good for Mexico.- Donald J.

NBC, however, is moving forward with its broadcast of the pageant on July 12. Trump has now made plans to sue the network.

Trump is part of another NBC program, “Celebrity Apprentice“. “Trump based on his recent insulting remarks about Mexican immigrants” Univision said in a statement.

In the video, he said, “Mr. Trump, It is unacceptable to launch your presidential candidacy creating rhetoric of hatred and discrimination in calling Mexicans drug dealers and rapists”. “Univision is totally laying down for the Mexican government….”

He went even further in a letter to Univision President and CEO Randy Falco. “I said people from all over”.

At the end of his letter to Falco, Trump sounded a similar note.

He also threatened a lawsuit against Univision, which is the dominant Spanish-language network in the United States.
