Teen charged with sexually assaulting 2 unconscious classmates given probation

David Becker, a MA teenager, will not have to serve any prison time or register as a sex offender after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting two classmates at a house party on April 2, a judge ruled last week.

Becker and his victims are all in high school, and that age factor reportedly counted in his sentencing, according to reports.

No conviction will appear on Becker’s record if he serves his probation without issue.

David Becker enters the courtroom at Palmer District Court for a hearing on June 14, 2016.

Becker can serve the two years of probation in OH, where he planned to attend college.

One of the victims told cops that she had heard rumors of Becker-called “David the Rapist” by some of her friends, she said-assaulting other women, claims that Rooke tells the Republican have been debunked.

According to East Longmeadow police, Becker had attended a house party with the two women and all three had stayed to help clean up when the party ended.

Family members of a MA woman say they want answers after the 26-year-old fell out of a moving bus in East Boston and was killed over the weekend. The judge sentenced Wilkerson to just two years of work release and probation.

Yeah, we shouldn’t, but a really easy way of avoiding that branding as a sex offender?

Rooke added that the goal was to let Becker graduate and move on to “a college experience”, although after criticism on social media, the University of Dayton posted on its Twitter account that Becker would not be attending its school in the Fall.

David Becker, former MA high school athlete, was charged with two counts of rape, indecent assault and battery.

Thomas Rooke, Becker’s attorney, said both allegations were false. Along with Becker, they went upstairs to sleep; they each awoke to Becker penetrating them with a finger.

Becker can serve out the terms of probation in OH, where he wrote on his now-deleted Facebook he planned to attend college.

But his hopes were quickly dashed when the University of Dayton later said he would not be attending as a student for this year. “We all made mistakes when we were 17, 18, 19 years old, and we shouldn’t be branded for life with a felony offense and branded a sex offender”.

Becker denied sexual contact with the other victim but said he believed his actions with the first woman had been acceptable because she didn’t stop him. He can’t come near the two 18-year-old women he assaulted and will be monitored by a Global Positioning System bracelet he’ll have to wear.

Rooke’s statement about his client echoes the sentiment of Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Aaron Persky, who infamously said that a harsher sentence “would have a severe impact on” Brock Turner – again worrying more about the impact of punishment of the alleged offender (or in Turner’s case convicted offender) than the alleged victim of sexual assault.
