Teen Choice Awards Criticized After Christina Grimmie Omitted from Gun Violence Segment

Fans have expressed anger at the Teen Choice Awards for failing to air a tribute to Grimmie, who died after being shot at a meet-and-greet in June. The two were dressed in the opposite sex, which made it even better. I mean can we talk about Cena’s wig? The source adds, “The fans have a right to be upset”.

The late singer wasn’t mentioned during the awards show broadcast.

After all the votes were in, the results were announced at the end of the award show.

This year’s winners included social media star Cameron Dallas, “Captain America” star Chris Evans, “Pretty Little Liars”, “Teen Wolf”, Grant Gustin, Chloe Grace Moretz and the Dolan twins. “It’s really just an uplifting song”, Derulo explained.

Daisy Ridley said she was “forever grateful” to everyone who voted for her role of Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Her dance moves were on point and if you missed it, you can watch the performance in all its glory below. Way to shut the house down girl!

On that note, Ne-Yo took the stage to perform Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On”.

‘Take a picture of these courageous teens asking for the violence to stop and then post with the hashtag #StopTheViolence’. This was heartbreaking and we our prayers go out to those affected.

Later in the show, Justin Timberlake was awarded a surfboard to mark his contributions to music and film throughout his career. Whoa, do we feel old. It seems like just yesterday when we were blasting “Rock Your Body” and crying a river.

“As a relatively new dad and a former teen, I am here to say you will make mistakes along the way”, he said. “You will fall down”, Timberlake said. “I think it’s part of the reason why, to this day, I try to live my life working most closely with, making music with, and spending so much of my time with an fantastic group of people – male, female, straight, gay, every walk of life”. They’re gonna be here before you know it, and they will go fast … The artist left fans with a nice message, encouraging teens to “be the greatest generation yet”. “The more you realize that we are the same, the more we can have a conversation”, he wrote in a tweet that has since been deleted.
