Teen claimed superpowers before biting attack
He also will be charged with attempted first-degree murder in the stabbing of their neighbor, Jeff Fisher, who triedto intervene. Snyder suggested earlier in the week that he’s in no hurry to make the charges official, since the man’s family or insurance must pay his hospital bills until he’s formally charged.

Police said the couple had been beaten and stabbed in what appeared to be a “completely unprovoked and random attack” as they sat on a sofa in their open garage, which was covered in decorations and fairy lights.
“It is not super important to me what his mindset was”, Stevens said of Harrouff today. Fisher has since been released from the hospital and is home with family, the Sheriff’s Office said.
He said the first deputy who arrived tried to stop Harrouff with a Taser gun, but that didn’t stop him. But Dougherty says they were dead by the time deputies arrived and found Austin Harrouff on top of Stevens, biting his face.
Harrouff’s concerned mother phoned police after her son angrily left a restaurant, anxious about his unusual behaviour and comments about being “a superhero”.
His mother called everyone Harrouff would have been going to see, but no one had seen him, according to the report.
Less than an hour before the attack, Harrouff was having dinner with his parents at Duffy’s Sports Grill at 6791 W. Indiantown Road in Jupiter, according to a Jupiter police report. Ivy Stevens said she has heard about YouTube videos in which Harrouff discusses steroids.
The Harrouff family released a statement Friday, expressing their “deepest sympathy for the pain and suffering” caused by their son. This test will give a more in depth result of what was in his system other than your typical street drugs (marijuana, cocaine, heroin, opioids, meth, etc.) The standard blood test will test for those “street drugs”. He is then accused of fatally stabbing Michelle Mishcon, 53, and John Stevens III, 59, who were sitting in their garage.
“The suspect in this case was abnormally strong”, Snyder said, making him think Harrouff was on drugs.
Flakka had a brief burst in popularity in late 2014 and 2015, primarily in South Florida, but its usage quickly waned after stories circulated about users’ deaths and mental breakdowns, and a crackdown was carried out in China, where it has been manufactured. Synder noted that Harrouff didn’t have the raised body temperature often associated with flakka use.
Fisher’s neighbors were later identified as Michelle Mishcon Stevens and her husband, John Stevens.
The neighbor, whose father identified as Jeff Fisher, 47, was rushed to Good Samaritan hospital, and is in surgery. His parents called the Jupiter Police Department asking for help finding him.

The Palm Beach Post reported that when Austin Kelly Harrouff’s mother called 911 to report her son missing, she told the dispatcher that he was talking about being “immortal” and “a superhero” on a mission to save people. “We will allow the full legal process to find the facts and the truth here”. We’ll look at social media.
