A teenager from America took his grandmother on her first prom date after she missed her own during the Second World War.

According to the report, the grandmother, Delores Dennison, initially didn’t want to go with her grandson, Austin Dennison, on his high school end-of-year bash.
She tried to persuade him to take a girl from his school because she was not up to much dancing, due to a previous heart attack and a stroke.
But she couldn’t refuse the proposal after Austin asked her very pleasantly to go with him on date.
Later, after the party, she said that she enjoyed a lot there and Austin also offered her a pre-dance meal at her favorite local restaurant.
