Teenager confirms he will be Liverpool’s first January signing
Sky Sports report that the Reds are set to announce the capture of Marko Grujic in a £5.1m arrival from Red Star Belgrade, with a medical taking place today.

‘On 4th January I will become a Liverpool player, ‘ he wrote.
It is reported that Grujic has flown to Merseyside to undergo several medical tests and discuss a long term contract, but the post on his Facebook directly from the play confirms he’s decided on a move the Anfield.
Grujic, whose blend of athleticism and intelligence means he can operate in either a deeper or an advanced midfield role, will return to Red Star on loan until the end of the season after finalizing the formalities of his switch.
Initially, Liverpool feared they would miss out to Inter Milan in the battle for the 19-year-old’s signature, but Klopp became personally involved – speaking to the Serbian Under-21 worldwide – and helped swing the deal in his favour.
He will become Jurgen Klopp’s first signing since becoming Liverpool manager, and could become a great one, becoming an under-20 FIFA World Cup victor with Serbia last summer.
“Liverpool will pay the money immediately, and the player will stay in Red Star until 01/07/2016”.
Grujic made his first team debut for the club as a 17-year-old in 2013 and has scored five goals so far this season.

Liverpool is not expected to do much other business during the January window, although Klopp revealed the club “would react” if needed.
