Teens experience Windows 95 for first time and hilarity ensues
Windows 95 started it all, spawning an era of open source operating systems way before there were laptops and WiFi.

This is the depressing premise of the “Fine Brothers” latest video “Teens React To Windows 95”. This said though, their videos can be entertaining, and reaction videos, while not something that can be patented or copyrighted, are massively popular. “It’s a Dell. Not the singer, but A Dell”, one of the teens quips right off the bat. Now if you’ve grown up using Windows 95, you know how different it is visually and functionally compared to Windows 10.
“For me, this is like the first computer ever made”.
First, the teenagers in the video were amazed by the sheer size of the computer monitors we used to use. Nothing happens. One of the teens surmises that she has to hold it down, which is also unsuccessful in turning on the PC. It was an immediate success with Microsoft selling 7 million copies in the first five weeks and 40 million copies in its first year of availability.
When Windows 95 pops up on the screen it is met with reactions such as: “It’s prehistoric”.
Even AOL makes a guest appearance to connect the teens to the Internet during the video.
“I’ve seen these in old libraries”, said one flummoxed teenager.

“The dreaded Internet Explorer, I can only assume it is worse than we think it is”. Sure dial up internet was annoying but just think, it was THE way to get online. Laugh or cry, it’s your choice.
