As far as Tekken 7 goes, publisher Namco Bandai says that it will feature a cinematic story mode that will blends seamlessly with the game’s combat.
Unlike previous rumors, which pointed at a PlayStation 4 exclusive, the official trailer confirms that the game will be available on Xbox One and PC (Steam) too. Players will also be able to play as new fighters such as Kazumi Mishima, Claudio, Josie, Shaheen, Katarina, Lucky Chloe, Gigas, and Akuma from the Street Fighter® franchise amongst an impressive stable of fighters for the first-time-ever outside of arcades. The fighting game will head to our shores early next year. Bandai Namco‘s Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray were at hand to host the gameplay reveal, with the former noting that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be free to Xbox Live Gold Members for this week only as a goodwill gesture.
