The game is set during the events of the show’s first season where you find the lost phone of one of the main characters, and it gets you involved in fsociety’s schemes.

“Night School Studio is one of the most promising small developers in the industry, and seeing Telltale alumnus and writer Adam Hines writing alongside the team at UCP and United States of America on an interactive story with our partners at NBCUniversal makes us proud to present this to MR. ROBOT and Telltale fans everywhere”, said Steve Allison, SVP, Publishing at Telltale Games. Telltale has also released a quick behind-the-scenes video, explaining their inspiration behind the creation of the game.

This will be quite a different tale than Telltale fans are used to. Today we found out what it is: its official name is 1.51exfiltrati0n.ipa on iOS and eps1.51_exfiltrati0n.apk on Android (.ipa and.apk are the file extensions for iOS and Android apps, respectively), and it’s available right now.

If you’re interested in trying the game out, it’ll set you back $2.99.

Those messages will have far-reaching consequences and will drive the story forward, whilst relaying elements to you in various forms as well. Telltale says that the game takes place over the course of a week, so make sure you don’t have too many plans.

So don’t go into this expecting their typical adventure formula, as this is a Telltale game like no other.

In Mr. Robot:1.51exfiltrati0n.ipa, you’ll use the E-Corp messaging app to communicate in real time with characters from the show, making dialog choices that directly affect how the story flows.
