Jones had 14 first half points and added three first half assists to keep the game respectable. The only other time Odiase has hauled down 10 rebounds was in last season’s opener versus Loyola Maryland.
As a team, the Red Raiders notched a 26-for-60 shooting effort which included a 4-for-18 clip from beyond the three-point line. Tech converted on 18 of its 23 free throw attempts. The Bulldogs sank 10 of their 14 foul shots.

Both team had opportunities inside the final minute.
With the game tied at 68 after a layup by Dingle, Utah was forced to scramble for a shot.
