Ten former Notre Dame players invited to NFL Combine

The three Illini, along with more than 300 other collegiate players, will participate in a series of drills, evaluations, and interviews in front of National Football League personnel from February 23-29.

This is the largest collection of Bruins to be invited to the NFL Combine in the Mora era.

The NFL has announced its list of invitees for this year’s Combine and 14 Ohio State players made the cut.

This year’s NFL Combine will include six former Mississippi State players.

This draft has a little bit of both and there are some prospects at the top of this year’s draft that will really stand out for teams in the draft. South Carolina’s on-campus pro timing day is March 30.

The invite is a good sign for the recovery Redmond, who tore his anterior cruciate ligament.

Alexander, a 5-foot-11, 195-pound redshirt sophomore cornerback, has been projected as a first-round pick after displaying his shutdown skills during the season. Five former Oregon Ducks have been officially invited to participate in this month’s NFL Scouting Combine. Clemson has had at least four players drafted each of the last seven years.
