It seems like everyone in town made it to Williamsport to watch the boys play in the U.S. Championship Game, but fans came out on a nice Saturday afternoon for a a watch party inside NYSEG Stadium in Binghamton. Wontae Cho didn’t allow a hit in two innings of relief. Dundon drove in two runs, and Hopko and James Fellows each had an RBI for NY.

Tennessee manager Joey Hale praised his players’ approach while acknowledging his hitters struggled to find Mancini’s elusive curve ball for much of the game.
“We faced those guys a bunch; we’ve seen all their pitchers”, Hale said.
Park was replaced in the fourth after throwing just 48 pitches in order to stay eligible to pitch Sunday.
