“When she comes home, she will be on home confinement, until February 5. The sentence that she got was two years of supervised release”, Giudice’s lawyer continued.
Teresa’s lawyer, James Leonard Jr., said in a press conference that the reunion was a very private, emotional moment, adding, “She just wants to spend the holidays with her family just like everyone else”.
After reaching a plea deal, Teresa was originally sentenced to 15 months in jail, while Joe got a whopping 41 months. “She made us wait an hour … to do her hair”, he says of going to visit her in prison.
Reality star Teresa Giudice is being released from prison today.
Teresa and Joe will be spending Christmas Eve with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa, who recently dished to “Extra” about what she’s cooking for the special occasion.
“She’s safe and sound in her own home. And then when that period ends, she will begin a [two-year] period of supervised release”.
Despite reports in a British newspaper that “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Joe Giudice was seen driving a vehicle, in violation of a judge’s order, the Montville man’s attorney denies the claims.

“She is home and they are rolling”, the insider said. The Danbury facility is best known as the prison home for other famous female felons, including Leona Helmsley and Piper Kerman of “Orange is the New Black“. News reported. Daughter Gia Giudice, 14, posted a brief note on Twitter acknowledging her mom’s return. Back in March she was indicted and sentenced for multiple counts of fraud along with her husband.
