Teresa of Kolkata will always be ‘Mother’ Teresa, pope says

The canonization Mass, which saw Mother Teresa honored officially as a Catholic saint, took place in a sunny Saint Peter’s Square Sunday before a crowd of more than 100,000 people from around the world.

Missionaries of Charity can often be seen walking the streets in Southcrest and leading prayers in the community. The head of the state government said that from now on the road, which runs right in front of the Archbishop’s house, will be known as “Saint Mother Teresa Road”. “It is time for all of us – she continued – to take a page from her book of compassion and serve the poor and the afflicted”. “She inspired millions to serve humanity in their own way, by her actions”, he observed.
