The Spain worldwide is yet to start a Premier League match under Conte and, although he praised Fabregas, the Italian was not ready to offer any guarantees.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says it will take time for him to get his side playing how he wants. Of course I’d like to play more, but I know I can be important even just for 15 minutes.
But Conte said: ‘John didn’t recover from his injury.
“In this case it is important (to listen to) what the player feels and the pain he is in”.
“I am pleased for Cesc because he played a good game, he showed me great commitment in the training sessions”. This news story is related to Print/151678-Fabregas-ready-to-step-up-for-Chelsea/ – breaking news, latest news, pakistan ne.
Chelsea have recently enjoyed a one-sided record against the Gunners, who have not beaten them in nine league meetings-the last six of which Arsenal have failed to score in.
The Spaniard is yet to start a game for Antonio Conte’s side this season, despite a number of impressive cameo displays.
‘He played a good game in the EFL Cup. Madrid? There might have been calls, there might not have, but I am not thinking of leaving.
“I’m sure that we are working to try and improve, and reach a high level in every game”.
“It is a very special game against Arsenal”.
‘I don’t know (when he will be back).
“Hopefully, I can open his eyes and make him see that I deserve to play”, said the 29-year-old, who was also omitted from Julen Lopetegui’s maiden Spain squad for matches against Belgium and Liechtenstein earlier this month.

Asked about the failure of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa to impact the match, Conte added: “I think it’s always a team problem, not an individual player”.
