Tesla keeps pets and kids cool with software update 8.0
While the Model S is the first and only EV to be the world’s quickest accelerating production vehicle, there are several upcoming startups claiming to build better vehicles than Tesla in terms of performance. Even the tests conducted by Tesla showed that that its P85D variant of Model S could accelerate from 0-100 kilometers within 3.1-3.3 seconds, proving that the car’s performance has been accurate.

A total of 200 improvements have been made to the Autopilot system, most notably including updates to Tesla’s Autopilot system, which has drawn criticism in recent months after a series of accidents that it was accused of being responsible for.
The latest update includes changes to several of the car’s systems, including the constant hot topic that is Tesla Autopilot, the firm’s semi-autonomous driving system. Among his favorite new features high up the ranks sits the new always-on temperature control that will potentially save kids and pets from overheating.
Software update 8.0 brings with it a new look for the central touchscreen, the most major update to its design since the Model S launched.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted that Autopilot 8.0 would start downloading to customers Wednesday night.

Tesla in August rephrased its description of the Autopilot system in some advertisements but “some of their staffers and their pamphlets are still using terms like “automatic driving”, Mr Cui said.
Drivers of Tesla’s Model S in Hong Kong can still enjoy its auto steer and auto lane change functions – two autopiloting features that were suspended by the local Transport Department in October a year ago. He also added that she feels safer with the feature.

Norway has been one of the biggest markets of Tesla, specifically due to the subsidies the government offers to increase the use of electric cars.
