Tesla Model 3 teased ahead of launch on April 1

The small Model 3 is set to be Tesla’s breakthrough vehicle.

Despite the unveiling, the Model 3 isn’t expected to begin shipping to buyers until late 2017.

What could well be Tesla’s most important vehicle, the Model 3, will be revealed on March 31 in Los Angeles, the company has said today.

In some states like Colorado, who offer impressive incentives for electric vehicles, the cost of the auto could be reduced to as little as $21,500, this also includes a Federal, the average price of the auto in most states will be around $30,000.

Still, for an automaker than share a single manufacturing plant in Fremont, California, analysts and investors will closely follow Tesla’s guidance for actual initial deliveries of the Model 3. Tesla has revealed a teaser image of the upcoming Model 3 and confirmed the exact date it will be revealed.

Of course, Tesla will need to keep to its schedule if it plans on the first cars rolling off the production line at the expected time. Therefore, Tesla’s mass-market Model 3 is considered to be a make or break vehicle for Tesla which will lock horns with electric cars of the future. This is the fourth Tesla model after the Roadster, Model S sedan, and Model X crossover, and is specifically targeted towards a much broader market base.
